Nancy Eisenberg is Regents’ Professor of Psychology at Arizona State University, USA. She has published extensively on social, emotional, and moral development. Her research includes collaborations in the USA, China, Indonesia, Italy, Germany, and France. Her books include The Roots of Prosocial Behavior in Children (with Paul Mussen, 1989), The Caring Child (1992), and How Children Develop (with Siegler and DeLoache, 2006). She is the founding editor of the new journal, Child Development Perspectives. She has received the Career Contribution to General Psychology (2007) and Distinguished Contribution to Developmental Psychology (2009) awards from the American Psychological Association and the Distinguished Scientific Contribution award (2008) from ISSBD.
