Eveline Crone, PhD (University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, 2003) is Professor of Developmental Psychology. She spent 2 years as a post doctoral researcher at UC Davis, USA before starting the Brain & Development Laboratory in 2005 at the University of Leiden, Netherlands. The laboratory focuses on fundamental changes in brain function that underlie our ability to anticipate, produce and evaluate complex decisions in daily life. Prof Crone’s work employs a developmental cognitive neuroscience approach to examine the relation between brain development and changes in psychological processes from birth to adulthood. Her current research centres around the development of cognitive control and decision-making in school-aged children and adolescents. |
